Numark has said it is nearing its highest ever number of members in the UK this month as it prepares to welcome its 6,000th pharmacy contractor.

Describing the figure as “a significant milestone” and a “landmark achievement”, Numark said the tally was a “reflection of the strength” of its “proposition and the trust placed in it by pharmacy contractors across the UK”.

Numark chairman Harry McQuillan said: “This is a proud moment for everyone at Numark and a clear sign that our member-first approach is resonating across the sector.”

Referencing Numark’s 12 principles, which were published last year and set out a blueprint for pharmacy service expansion driven by technological advancements and the use of data, he added: “(This) guides everything we do, from empowering clinical services and championing the pharmacy voice to ensuring every member has access to the tools, advice, and commercial support they need to grow and succeed.”

Numark said its “ever-expanding membership” was allowing it to “leverage its scale to deliver the most competitive market pricing and commercial terms, ensuring members maximise value and remain commercially robust in a tight financial climate”.
